PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is an act of copying published literary work of an individual and using the word, phrase, and paragraph as his own words. Academicians around the world strictly warn against the above-mentioned way of writing literature, and in recent past technology, i.e., software, has been developed and made available to check how an article, report, thesis, and dissertation were originally written by authors. The plagiarism deducting software will provide the total percentage of copied texts from which source. Therefore, academicians, particularly research supervisors and scholars, are trying to write contents on their own to get through plagiarism.

To avoid such problems, this university library has planned to organise an awareness program to write original research reports. The need-based short-term programs will be conducted to familiarise technical writing skills to avoid plagiarism. For further enquiries, contact the Deputy Librarian.
