Visitors Library Access Policy

The University Library's primary aim is to serve the students, research scholars, faculty, and staff of the university, but we also welcome visitors from affiliated colleges, other institutions, organisations, and the general public to use our facilities and resources. We inform them that our visitors follow these guidelines during your visit to the library.

Visitor Behaviour Rules

We inform you that do not engage in disruptive behaviour while visiting our library. To protect an environment where we can best serve all of our patrons:

• Show the valid ID cards issued by your institute in the gate entry. Without which you will not be allowed to enter in the library. Entry is restricted for those who produce expired IDs.
• Register the purpose of the visit in the visitor gate entry register.
• Receive the visitors barcode ID card available in the circulation desk. And return the same while you are leaving.
• Cellphone conversation inside the library is strictly prohibited.
• Inappropriate usage of language and comments should not be made.
• During the visit, do not sleep in any of the section tables.
• No loitering.
• Pay the necessary service charges applicable to visitors by cash if you avail any of the pay and use services inside the library.
• Visitors are not allowed to access the e-library as it is restricted only to current enrolled students and research scholars of this university.



Failure to comply will result in your immediate dismissal from the library.

ACCESS TO COLLECTIONS

The visitors are allowed to access the physical resources namely, books, periodicals, theses, and model question papers, but they are not allowed to borrow all the above mentioned resources.

If the visitor intended to reproduce a part of the resources for his educational purposes, then, as per the copyright act, 15pages in a book can be photocopied in a day.

DOCUMENT SERVICES

Document delivery and scanning services to the visitors at a nominal fee prescribed by this university is offered by this library.

FEES FOR VARIOUS SERVICES

The Fees for various services to visitors are prescribed as follows:
